FRANCE ÉBAUCHE
HERITAGE, MODERN ENGINEERING & REFINEMENT

The France Ébauche movement in the Chamonix combines unmatched heritage with the prestige of a "manufacture" caliber and the reliability of an industry leader. Backed by Soprod (the current owner of the France Ébauche manufacture in France), a renowned name in watchmaking, it delivers precision, efficiency, and ease of maintenance, supported by decades of expertise.

AN OBVIOUS MOVEMENT CHOICE

The new Chamonix is powered by the "FE Auto – No Date" movement, designed by the historic France Ébauche Manufacture.

Based in Maîche, in the heart of the Doubs region, France Ébauche has long embodied the excellence of French watchmaking.

A MECHANICAL MOVEMENT REBORN

Since its acquisition by its Swiss counterpart Soprod in 2017, the "FE" movement has been reimagined and modernized, combining the refinement and uniqueness of a manufacture caliber.

Positioned among high-end mechanical movements, it obviously benefits from the support of a major player in the watchmaking industry, ensuring exceptional reliability, ease of maintenance, and long-term support.

The France Ébauche FE AUTO - No Date - movement in the Chamonix is based on the FE 5601 and FE 5611 calibers, known for their robustness and versatility. Redesigned to meet current standards of precision and performance, it includes:
• 3 hands H/Min/S, central second hand
• No date complication, avoiding the famous "ghost position" on the crown, a common issue among collectors
• Automatic winding with a 44-hour power reserve
• A high frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) for optimal accuracy
• Incabloc® shock protection with a double cone for increased durability, allowing the Chamonix to proudly display INCABLOC on its dial
• A traversing balance bridge for better robustness and stability
• Refined aesthetics, with a rhodium treatment and a visible rotor
• 23 jewels
Made in France

REINVENTED FOR TODAY'S CHALLENGES

This movement competes with Swiss calibers in terms of quality and finishing, while proudly embodying the French values of innovation and craftsmanship.
